Poseidon was an Olympian god. He was the son of Cronos and Rhea. After he was born he was eaten by his father. His siblings were eaten too, except for his brother Zeus.
Poseidon has 5 siblings, Zeus, Hades, Hestia, Hera, and Demeter. They were all eaten except for Zeus. When Zeus was older, he got his father to throw his siblings back up. Poseidon was then given the title god of sea.
