Poseidon - Greek God of the Sea

Poseidon was the Greek god of the Sea. He had the power to calm the ocean or create great waves. He was also the king of earthquakes and horses. Poseidon was the youngest of all of the titans. He was the brother of Zeus the god of thunder and Hades god of the underworld. Together they were the three most powerful Gods of Mount Olympus.
Although Poseidon was married and had children, his family was not his first priority. Poseidon's wife was the goddess of the Sea and her name was Amphitrite. He had 7 kids with his wife Amphitrite. His kids names were
Theseus,Triton, Polyphemus, Belus, Agenor, Neleus and Atlas. Each of his children has their own power except Neleus who was a mortal. Theseus was the king of Athens. Triton was the god of Sea messages. Polyphemus was the one of the most famous Cyclops. Belus was the god of war. Agenor was the god of the Sea like his dad Poseidon. Poseidon was the second most feared god of Mount Olympus. Because he spent most of his time in that water his hair became blue. He had many mood swings some good and some bad. When he was in a good mood he created new land which expanded the Mount Olympus territory. When he was in a bad mood things were not good. He was destructive and destroy things. His created great waves in the sea and caused many shipwrecks. Sailors did not want to upset Poseidon. They wanted him to be calm so they could have safe passage on the sea.
