When deciding which profession, I would obtain after getting my Bachelor’s Degree, I did a lot of research. I took into consideration the years of education it takes to complete the programs, education requirements to enter the program, benefits, salary, skills and abilities. I picked Physician Assistant based on these variables. I believe you should be passionate about your job and what all it entails. Although, each profession has it pros and cons, I took those into great consideration when choosing my path. They included, the hours I would/could work each week, education requirements, skills I needed, abilities I already acquired, knowledge of the profession and last but not least the stress that comes with the job. Physician Assistants provide healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of physician. They complete physicals, provide treatment, counsel patients and prescribe medication. They must graduate from an accredited program for physician assistants. You would …show more content…

I would like to be able to start sooner, but with my schedule I can only take two classes per term through Kaplan. I do not want to overload my life and not be able to give the attention my studies need and deserve. I hope to be able to enter an internship, as well. I think that will help me get the feel of my career and I can learn more things on hand. I will be considering this as soon as I obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science. Although I am still not sure which specialty I will be going into once I become a Physician Assistant, I will be researching the best places and companies to intern for. I believe the most experience I can have will make me a better Physician. Having a lot of experience and education in five years will benefit me in the long run as well.
