This memorandum is intended to cover the three points of emotional, physical and social effects of revenge porn on a victim.
To start off, revenge porn is the act of maliciously submitting nude photographs of ex lovers onto a website for the world to see. This is an invasion of privacy that has become very widespread over the last few years. These websites not only allow people to anonymously post others pornographic pictures but also allow these people to provide the victim’s contact information, which ultimately endangers the victim’s reputation and safety.
Arianna and Bradley were in a relationship from May of 2012 until December of 2013. During their relationship they lived together and had a sexual relationship; over the course of the relationship pornographic photos were taken by Bradley of Arianna on September of 2012 in their apartment bedroom; 17 pictures were taken in total that day and were saved on Bradley’s computer. Arianna also “sexted” pictures to Bradley from her mobile phone on multiple occasions. In October of 2013 they filmed a tape of themselves having sex in their home; the file was kept in a locked folder on Arianna’s laptop.
On December of 2013 Arianna ended the relationship with Bradley after Arianna had had enough of his overprotective behavior and because she had stopped loving him. Bradley was angry in early February of 2014 when Arianna entered into a new relationship because Bradley was still in love with her. On February 14, 2014, Bradley posted [3] of the pictures of Arianna on several social media websites. Bradley then sent links to the photographs to Arianna’s employer and family to try and ruin every relationship she had left. When she asked him to remove the pictures he denied and submitted th...

...e privacy of that other person is guilty of disorderly conduct, which is a misdemeanor.”
Bradley is found guilty under this law because he took pornographic photographs of Arianna without her consent in a private residence area.
The emotional psychological and social distress that came from this incident should be enough to successfully conclude that what Bradley did was wrong and an invasion of privacy that is illegal.
The fact that nude images were uploaded online without the consent of the victim should apply to the law under California Penal Code 647(j)(4). Although some photographs were taken herself, the fact of the matter is that they were taken in confidentiality and were meant to remain in private.
This problem is being taken too lightly and the emotional and social effects that the victim undergoes after incidents like this should be deeply regarded.
In the course of the basement search, police found a trunk containing ?lewd and lascivious? books and pictures. As a result, Mapp was arrested for violating an Ohio law prohibiting the possession of obscene materials. The Cuyahoga County Common Please Court found her guilty of the violation based on the evidence presented by the police. When Mapp?s attorney questioned the officers about the alleged warrant and asked for it to be produced, the police were unable or unwilling to do so. Nonetheless, Mapp was found guilty and sentenced to 1 to 7 years in the Ohio Women?s Reformatory.

Marriott, Westin, and Hilton are known for their pornographic video deliveries to paying rooms, a practice which Omni Hotels discontinued when confronted by the American Family Association. On the other hand, Internet porn companies like Yahoo! In its x-rated Geocities sites, was not intimidated by AFA's threats. Instead, it took US Attorney General Ashcroft's strong action to intimidate Yahoo! into only a partial-withdrawal from Internet porn. However, Yahoo! Still retains marginally pornographic material on websites.
The subtopic being examined in this segment of pornography as a whole, is that of violent pornography. In order to understand what is going to be discussed and the examples that will be cited, one must understand the context of violent pornography in relation to Pornography as a whole. But as this section will conclude, it is actually the widespread viewing of pornography as represented through the media, which leads to violent actions.
Shortly after Reineke and Wilson’s arrest, Deonnia Sky Allen, 25, of Glendale, Ariz., and Jamie Lynn Knight, 35, of Avondale, Ariz., were charged with one count of each using a computer to advertise prostitution, and receiving or concealing money made from prostitution.
Such was the case of Ohio high school student, Jesse Logan, who sent nude photos to her boyfriend who then sent them to other students who harassed her until she committed suicide.2 Currently, there are laws in place against minors sexting and sexting to minors and they fall under the child pornography category. While the laws are intended to protect minors from sexual predators, what most minors do not understand is that they are subject to them as well. This means that, if fifteen-year-old Timmy decides to sext his fifteen-year-old girlfriend, Sarah, a naked picture of himself, both Timmy and Sarah could be tried in court on charges of disseminating child pornography and possessing child pornography. These serious charges can result in having to register as a sex offender for several years, although the message may have been sent and received consensually by both parties. This was the case for an 18-year-old Iowa boy who sent a nude picture of himself to a fourteen-year-old girl after she asked him repeatedly to do so.
When it comes to relationships there are many things that need to be present in order for it to work out. You must have support from both sides and honesty is also a big factor. When pornography enters a relationship it can be destroyed and could possible ruin that relationship forever. This essay will be able to inform you of all the ways that pornography can and does ruin relationships. Support for this argument will be drawn from the following sources: Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy, Love, Sex, and Health, and The Question of Pornography.
Now, it may seem as though the problem at hand is the person being victimized by revenge pornography, yet this is an issue but, the real

Revenge porn is defined as the nonconsensual sharing of pornographic images or videos with the intent to humiliate someone because of some perceived wrong that they committed. Revenge porn can destroy people 's lives because their personal information is displayed online for all to see. The root of the problem with someone posting pornographic pictures of someone they slept with on the Internet is misogyny. This is demonstrated in the YouTube video... when Holly 's boyfriend puts pornographic images of her on the Internet because she broke up with him. This act has to do with misogyny because her boyfriend acted on his hate towards her because she did not act in the way he believed she should act. Misogynists have very strict beliefs that dictate the way they believe women should act. One belief is that women should be people pleasers and should always submit to the man they are with. Holly breaking up with him did not go along with his misogynist viewpoint. This is why he decided to take vengence in the form of revenge porn. The key to stopping revenge porn is fighting against
The dishonesty that Allie 's mother conducted when hiding the letters that Noah had mailed to Allie, displayed what Hutchison (2015), describes as conflict perspective. Allie’s mother felt she was doing the right thing with hiding the letters, she felt her daughter deserved more than a common life and that Noah could only supply that lifestyle. She felt if she did not hide the letters her daughter would make the wrong choices and could possibly affect her life forever.
There are three criteria for child pornography; (1) the child gets to be hurt in the proses of making. (2) Signs of struggle have to be present. (3) The legal guardian of the child is forcing them to take pictures or make videos of sexual behavior. When a teen is sexting pictures none of these criteria are meet. The pictures are took and sent voluntarily, there is not enough evidence to say that the teens are pressured into taking the picture from there partner.
