Modern Architecture design is connected to a group of styles of architecture which emerged in the first half of the twentieth century and became dominant after World War II. It depended on new advancements in construction, especially the utilization of glass, steel, and reinforced cement; and upon a dismissal of the traditional neoclassical architecture and Beaux-Arts styles that were prevalent in the nineteenth century. The form of architecture which is being shown in the design the of above office block is a modern architecture, because First of all, it was the modern architecture form only which was raising up during 1930’s (Leslie 2002) and moreover, Peter Priestley was also a modernist architect which has been concluded by looking at his other pieces of architect (Priestley 2012). If we have a look at the outer structure of an office block, it consists of a unique window pattern which catches my attention to do some more research on this pattern of windows, and after going through the Australian architecture encyclopaedia and brainstorming through the internet it can be concluded that double hung and sliding sash pattern of windows has been followed in above office block. This pattern might have been followed as it provides an aesthetical outlook to the structure of the building and apart from providing just an aesthetical outlook to the structure of a building, the functionality has also been associated with this pattern of windows, as it also ensures sufficient sunlight on each floor of the building. Moreover, the windows are also being considered as one of the most important aspects which enhances the outlook of a building and makes it more aesthetically appealing. There are numerous types of windows which are being used in different office buildings, some of them are sash, horizontal sliding double hung, ribbon windows etc. and thee different types of windows have different functionality and are used according to the structure and outlook of different types of office
