To the editor of BBC.co.uk Everyday drones are used in many countries across the world for surveillance and for a lot of missions where they are controlled by men in the United Kingdom. This results in people’s privacy being ruined because of the drones are so modern, that they can see almost everything. If this keeps going on the drones are taking a serious step towards the wrong direction. Let me put this in perspective. Can you imagine the pilots who are sitting in the United Kingdom and controlling the drones? They have a normal work day where they meet in the morning to control these drones. They are just sitting in a room while they kill people without even being there. Now imagine the future with these drones. Governments who just buying drones because they are functional and easy to launch. Also by using drones they don’t loose any men if the drones get shot down or crashes. Can you imagine a future with missions like that? Let’s start with people’s privacy. What would you say if you suddenly could hear something in the sky? The drones are strong and can easily carry a big bomb for warfare. It is only a matter of time before counties starts using them for warfare. Some countries have started using drones for warfare. A drone can carry up to 500 lbs. and there is space for many bombs. Then the pilots just have to be safe in their country, push a button and kill thousands of people. There is a little delay in the video from the drones so many things can change from the launch of the bomb to the explosion.
