To the editor of BBC.co.uk Everyday drones are used in many countries across the world for surveillance and for a lot of missions where they are controlled by men in the United Kingdom. This results in people’s privacy being ruined because of the drones are so modern, that they can see almost everything. If this keeps going on the drones are taking a serious step towards the wrong direction. Let me put this in perspective. Can you imagine the pilots who are sitting in the United Kingdom and controlling the drones? They have a normal work day where they meet in the morning to control these drones. They are just sitting in a room while they kill people without even being there. Now imagine the future with these drones. Governments who just buying drones because they are functional and easy to launch. Also by using drones they don’t loose any men if the drones get shot down or crashes. Can you imagine a future with missions like that? Let’s start with people’s privacy. What would you say if you suddenly could hear something in the sky? Maybe it is easy to hear the sound but It might not be easy locate the drone. The drones can be very high in the air and therefor be very difficult to see. Then you will …show more content…
The drones are strong and can easily carry a big bomb for warfare. It is only a matter of time before counties starts using them for warfare. Some countries have started using drones for warfare. A drone can carry up to 500 lbs. and there is space for many bombs. Then the pilots just have to be safe in their country, push a button and kill thousands of people. There is a little delay in the video from the drones so many things can change from the launch of the bomb to the explosion. That means that many civilians can get to the explosion even though it was not planned. It has been seen a lot of times that many civilian people die because of war with
Evidence: Drones have many beneficial uses, including in search-and-rescue missions, scientific research, mapping, and more. But deployed without proper regulation, drones equipped with facial recognition software, infrared technology, and speakers capable of monitoring personal conversations would cause unprecedented invasions of our privacy rights. Interconnected drones could enable mass tracking of vehicles and people in wide areas. Tiny drones could go completely unnoticed while peering into the window of a home or place of worship.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), also known as Drones have been used since the civil war, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. The idea of unmanned aerial vehicles had been growing more and more with every conflict our nation has come across. The use of drones is now in full effect, ranging from military operations to relief efforts. Controversies around the increased use of drones include target killings by the military and surveillance by drones within the U.S. Target killing has shown to be effective and favorable against terrorism but some have seen it as a violation of human rights

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it’s a flying boat airplane! The first commercial airplane flight was actually a flying boat. It happen in January, 1914. A former mayor of St. Petersburg, Florida, paid $400 to fly from St. Petersburg to Tampa. The 18mile trip took only 23 minutes by plane. Traveling the same distance by ship would of taken over two hours. Since the flight was successful, plane trips across the Tampa Bay became popular. Passengers paid $5 each way to take a trip on the special boat
So commercial drones are use for many reasons. So therefore is mainly for our safety and our privacy. So get commercial drones don't wait for the last minute.
“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him” (G.K. Chesterton). A soldier is a soldier no matter what. If they fight behind a screen, on the front line, or from a controller as long as they’re protecting this country, the people in it, and the people fighting for it they are honorable. Some think that because one does their fighting from a remote control drone means that they have no understanding of war, and in some ways that is true, but they are still taking someone’s life when they choose to press that button just like the solders on the front line takes someone’s life when they pull the trigger. Both people are fighting the same fight: they love the country they are defending the people in it they just do it from different standpoints. Drones
Drones are remotely controlled aerial vehicles that have been used since the Afghanistan war. The UK have began using UAVs in October 2007 during the Afghanistan war. Even though drones have many different size and shapes they fall into two categories. They are either used for surveillance or armed missions (What are Drones?). Drone strikes begun during the George W. Bush administration, and have increased substantially under President Barack Obama’s administration. Drones are wildly debated due to the fact that...

When looking back over my informative speech about drones and how they help endanger species like the Killer Whale, I used supporting materials like the pictures of the Killer Whales that were taken by NOAA with the use of a drone to show how the use of drones help scientist keep track of an animals health and also provides new areas of research that was not available before the development of drones. For instance, a group of researchers are trying to fund money to buy a drone to research more about the social lives and why female Killer Whales live long post-reproductive lives if they have enough food and the use of drones will help gather information that was impossible to gather until recently.
Drones are the Future One of the latest and most controversial topics that has risen over the past five to ten years is whether or not drones should be used as a means of war, surveillance, and delivery systems. Common misconceptions usually lead to people’s opposition to the use of drones which is the reason it is important for people to know the facts about how and why they are used. Wartime capabilities will provide for fewer casualties and more effective strikes. New delivery and surveillance systems in Africa, the United Air Emirates and the United States will cut costs and increase efficiency across the board. Rules and regulations on drones may be difficult to enforce, but will not be impossible to achieve.
...only imagine how hazardous this world we live in become. Amongst countries this can become an international competition to make drones to be used as a factor. When other nations see this particular country is using some type of technology to improve their military system then they would want part of it as well. The drone practice can cause to escalate if other countries adopt to this new technology for their own reason of protection. There will be no turning back because the government of that country would take advantage of these drones to use it towards the citizens instead of using for “terrorist”. The use of these drones is definitely immoral and unethical but some may argue that the of drones as protection against “terrorist” even though as we can see it kills innocent people, creates more terrorists, causes psychological disorders, and violates privacy. Living in the digital age where we enjoy the various fruits of latest technological tools and advancements, then at the same time we cannot escape from their hidden or apparent harms. Also, it is a fact that some gadgets supported by these technological advancements are much capable to bring destruction and disaster then construction and convenience. The same goes for the Drone Technology which since past 200 years is being used to create turbulence at the global level. It has proved to be a powerful investigator and bomber at the same time. Drones are specifically associated with military actions and the countries having used them for surveillance purposes include UK, USA, Italy, Japan, Austria, Australia etc. The list of victim counties or nations is much bigger in contrast. Some prominent victims of Drone Air Strikes include Congo, Venice, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. However, it is also an undeniable fact that the massive production and usage of Drones got multiplied in the 21st century.
Other weapons that the military have used, such as bombs, destruct a larger range of area, and bombs do much more destruction. With drones, pilots a can precisely plot the location of the target, and it will only destruct a certain range, smaller than a bomb’s range of destruction. Although many people argue that drone will kill innocent civilians near the area of the target, pilots can plot specific points where the drone will attack.
