Sometimes it may be difficult to just get up and take care of your everyday responsibilities. Our bodies sometimes do not want to co operate with us, as well as our mood, or even our mental health. However, pushing yourself to be productive can help you accomplish many things throughout your life. Today in my persuasive speech I will encourage you to take some of the facts to live a better life by talking about the mental health benefits of exercising, how exercising increases your mood, and how it also increases a person’s productivity.

Exercise can be a great way to lift your mood because,when you exercise your body feels more relaxed and calm. In article, Exercising and Improving Your Mood by Mark Stibich, PhD states,”When you exercise, your brain releases endorphins (deals with the brain and nervous system), adrenaline, serotonin (which has to do with your blood vessels) and dopamine (which deals with neurotransmitter, a nerve impulse)”. These chemicals all work together to make you feel good and after exercising you may feel a sense of accomplishment and your muscles will relax deeper because of the workout. A great form of exercise to improve your mood cardiovascular exercises and aerobics. As Mark Stibich states,”Cardiovascular exercise and aerobics are great for creating the intensity required for a mood-raising chemical high”. Also another exercise that can help a person improve their mood is yoga. Yoga has been shown in studies to reduce tension and stress while improving a person’s mood. Yoga focuses on a range of stretching, breathing and motion that create a release of negative emotions in the body. It is a an amazing strategy to be able to control your mood at anytime a situation
