People should stop smoking, so cancer can be put out for good. Cancer kills so many people worldwide, so why are people not doing anything to prevent it? The government is spending millions of dollars to find a cure. People do not have to suffer anymore. There are several ways to seek help. On top of killing themselves, people are killing innocent others too. It has been proven that second-hand smoke is more dangerous than actually smoking. So, do not be influenced by people who say smoking is fun. If someone wants to try it, they will soon find they cannot have just one. This is true, but the majority of people start smoking due to peer pressure. These people usually wish they could change that. The majority of people know the consequences of smoking but still chose to start (4). Again, most of these people were peer pressured into it. Smoking bans are already in effect in public places, so why should it be stopped altogether (5). Smoking needs to stop altogether to protect innocent people from cancer. Tobacco products are completely legal, so why should people stop (4)? Smoking is dangerous to the smokers and others too. As far as other form of tobacco, it can still cause serious damage to the user. If people were told to quit altogether, then it would be taking their rights away (6). This could be true, but cancer takes the peoples’ right to live away. Many people think smoking looks cool (1). But answer this, is dying cool? Some people smoke just so they can get more breaks at work (3). These people need to think about their selves and others too. What about the people who work for tobacco companies (5)? Honestly, these people can get another job. Why would they want to work for a worldwide killer anyways? There has already been a law against it, and nothing changed (1). Only one known ban has been recorded, and everyone knows more than one trial needs to be run. Restrictions have already been put on homes, but nothing changed (1).
