As sales of recreational marijuana surge past medical marijuana in Colorado and Washington, many Americans are starting to wonder if this spells the end for medical marijuana, after all, medical is taxed at a much lower percent, making it the most economical choice. However, dwindling sales doesn’t mean the end, just the transformation medical marijuana needs. Yes, it means a change, but not all change is bad!
Research by GreenWave Advisors, LLC an investment firm that specializes in the marijuana industry has confirmed the dwindling medical marijuana sales. They also see downward trend continuing.
How far will it fall? Colorado could see the 114,000 registered patients in 2014 fall to 99,000 by 2020.

Not everyone who has a medical marijuana card in the 24 states where it is legal really has a legit condition. These proud card carrying members distract from the true medicinal value of the cannabis sativa plant and that is a shame, because it has so many positive uses.
Of course, no one wants to diminish the pain relief it provides to everyone who uses it to relieve pain. What many doctors and researchers are pointing out is the outright lifesaving and changing properties, the plant provides special groups of human beings that are suffering from chronic conditions.
