If you want a child to turn out right raise them right. Do you want to have a child in trouble with the law, or a child that is a success in life? I have seen children from the same walks of life raised in different mannerism. From the things I have seen there is a right way and a wrong way. If you raise a child like there a blessing and not a curse they will have more confidents and do better in life. If you raise a child like they can never do anything right or there a disappointment they tend to turn out that way. If you raise a child with no discipline and give them everything; they will grow up expecting everything to be given to them. He grew up with several step dads they were either abusive or didn’t care. His mom, My Aunt Connie was married several times throughout the years. When Ricky would get in trouble or suspended from school instead of instilling discipline she would let him go fishing; he eventually dropped out of school. Now when we got older she married a man named Rick; who was a military man. Uncle Rick believed in discipline but my aunt wouldn’t let him discipline her son. As Ricky got older he got into more trouble. One time he stole Uncle Rick’s motor cycle He was grounded at first; but then Uncle Rick was stationed in Korea. Well Uncle Rick was in Korea My aunt started smoking pot with him. That was really help full not. Throughout the years my cousin was in and out of trouble with the law. Eventually he decided to rob a bank, the same bank more than once. He ended up got caught running down the street with a shotgun and a bag of money. Sometimes before or after work we would hang out. His old girlfriend had custody of their son but he seen his son on a regular basis. One day I was visiting and my friend made me mad with the way he was treating his current girlfriend’s son. You could tell the child was uncoordinated was more of a quite boy he said to me “the kid doesn’t know how to do anything; can’t even catch a ball like my son.” I looked at my friend and told him “If you’re marrying his mother you’re marrying him; so be a dad not a jerk. If you do things with him and treat him like yours he will learn how to do the things you like to do as well as you learn the things he likes to do because you’re about to be his dad.
