For over twenty years, there has been the conflict about weather the government should enhance laws against carrying a concealed weapon, or if there should be no law against it. In 2015 there has been a total of 353 mass shootings. Many incidents, like mass shooting, brings up a conflict between citizens and political leaders. The people who want there to be a law against owning a gun have been affected in some way from the shooting. Another reason they might want to make stricter gun control laws or even take away gun control rights is that the government wants all of the power. They know that no one else will be armed in a gun free zone, so it is the best path for success. Even Though people think that having stricter gun control rights will make us more safe, but in fact, it does not. They make us less safe because if no one is allowed to carry guns with them, it is the path for the most success for criminals. They should lift up gun control rights because it will keep us safer, mass shootings only happen in a gun free zone, and the government could take away all of our rights and …show more content…

If people do not have the right to carry a concealed weapon, or own a gun, then how do the defend themselves against someone who has a gun? Criminals take this aspect into account when plan what they are going to do. They know if no one is allowed to carry guns, then it is the path of least resistance. For example, in 2014 Chicago lifted their strict gun control law and shootings and crimes declined at an amazing rate. There were 90 fewer shootings and 119 fewr shooting victims. Since the first quarter of 2012, there has been 222 fewer shootings and 292 fewer shooting victims. This is another great example that we should lift gun control rights because it will greatly decrease crime rates and will give the people assurance that they can feel safe, knowing that they can stop anyone if stuff get
