I. Introduction In 1903 the Wright Brothers made the first controlled flight in a powered Airplane. This opened up the immense possibilities of using the skies as a navigational platform. Aero planes have since then been used extensively in applications ranging from transport to reconnaissance. The full potential of this innovation was soon realized during the First World War where they were put to military use. The loss of life on these still rudimentary machines led to the development of a better technology; Unmanned Aero planes. One important reason is-limitations from national regulatory bodies. Drones can be used for recreational purposes, but for business uses, drones are banned. Drones are still considered illegal in many countries. In the past there have been incidences of drone sightings surrounding the LAX Airport. This could cause serious problems for flights and can lead to mishaps. Regulatory bodies have been trying to suppress the use of drones for commercial purposes. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had imposed serious restrictions on the use of drones in the United States. Although recently, the FAA is trying to lift some restrictions but is still against the use of drones for delivery of packages. According to the new rules of FAA, a pilots flying drones, will need to obtain a special pilots certificate who would keep the drone at line of sight at all times. Drones would need to stay away from bystanders and should fly only during the day. FAA has also limited the weight of the drones and the speed and height at which drones can fly.
