The issue of deportation and immigration is a heated topic and today's society with the United States being a land of hope and freedom many people from all around the world want to come here for varying reasons. This issue has two main sides, humanitarian and political, I don’t think you can say one is more right than the other it depends on the morals you hold and your views. There are many contemporary issues with deportation of cambodians is that these people have been established in the United States for many years and have made a life from themselves here and are being deported back to Cambodia which may be a land that they have never experienced. Deportation can take place in multiple ways, it can happen swiftly where an ICE officer may show up at their door and take them away immediately or it could be an obduction late at night. Or they could receive a letter giving them some warning so they can get family matters aligned. The unsureness of this process can be very stressful for those who are subject to being deported. Once in the process of being deported they may have to stay in a crowded cell with others who are being deported, sometimes these conditions are poor where they don’t get fed well or their basic needs are not
