There are more people getting hooked on their screen than people getting hooked to any drug. Screen time is one of the biggest “drugs” in modern day. It can be just as addictive and just as harmful as heroin. There is a lot of information about children vs screen time, and I think that screen time needs to be cut down on younger children until they get older and can tell themselves to get off when they need to. People need to learn about the effects of screen time.
Video games have a massive effect on younger kids more than older kids, because younger kids don't have as much common sense and haven't hit puberty where they learn more about life and look at everything in a new perspective.
