It's so easy to forget. It's so easy to become so focused on our own lives, the small minuscule things of our daily happenings that we forget this one truth. This one thing deep down we know we must face. We all exist here, together, on planet earth. We all are here on a small marble in space and we are changing it. We are pumping gas into the atmosphere resulting in extreme climate changes. Our oceans are turning acidic. The rainforests of the world are diminishing rapidly. The beautiful abundant creatures of our planet are dying off, some of which hold cures to diseases and vital ecosystem services.

We, as a human race, do not lack the knowledge or technological advancements to move the human race forward. I am in awe always when I learn of the many ways we can help our planet. Solar, wind, hydroelectric and nuclear power are all becoming more feasible, affordable and efficient with the expansion of technologies around the globe. Individually, or for a government or international organization I will use my Georgetown education and my empathetic skills to create systems that work; policies that encourage the use of green technologies on a global scale. I will work with everything I have to formulate courses of action that governments and organizations must take to implement these green innovations and put them to use within everyone’s day to day life.
