Why I Enjoy Riding Dirt Bikes
Some people may not be aware of it, but motocross is the most physically demanding sport out there. Anyone else that does ride will completely agree with that statement, but it is also something that people, and I, enjoy very much. It is a good way to get exercise and to hang out with your friends.
My essay is about something I enjoy doing, riding dirt bikes. The bike I ride is a 1992 Honda CR 250. I had many other bikes before this one but this one is the most recent one I own and is the most reliable. I enjoy riding my bike at this place that is practically my back yard, Quad sport. I’ve been there so many times, I earned the nickname Quad sport kid. Another place I enjoy riding at is Furnace Run. I usually go riding when the weather permits or when my friends want to go. I usually go riding by myself or with my friends that live close to me.

It gets me out of the house and is also a workout, but sometimes you can get hurt while doing it. I had to get 8 staples in the back of my head when my buddy T-boned me going off a jump. My bike landed on top of me and the back tire landed on my head when it was still spinning. That’s why if you do go riding, it’s always a good thing to wear a helmet. The last thing I wanted to learn about was jumping. This skill would be hardest but it would be crucial if I wanted to be an adventurous rider. It was very hard at first, by which I mean I would get air but crash. When I got the hang of it it was awesome it felt so great to be flying, or at least that’s what it felt like. I was able to drag race and beat fifty percent or more of people but most of the time I’d win more. Bicycling was an exciting experience for two reasons. First, it has allowed me to travel around the city. Second, it gives me a chance to hang out with my friends. I love bicycling, I think it is fabulous! Whenever I have free time I like to ride my bike, specifically BMX. BMX to the world is an action sport such as skateboarding, although I believe it's a lifestyle not just a hobby. When I was seven years old I learned how to ride a bike I started of in a less bumpy place then I started in a more crowded area. I remember the feeling of the wind flowing through my hair as I rode.
