Personal Narrative: My Memories At A Basketball Team

Memories are so very important. They make up your life and they make you, well you. Nobody will have the exact same memories as you do! Rather it is memories with your friends or family, good ones to bad ones, they make a difference in the way we act and live! My favorite memory is actually very recent. Last summer my basketball team and I went to Virginia Beach for a national tournament! It was the MayB National Tournament and teams from all over the country would be there. And there we were just a little team from Central Arkansas. We had won all the tournaments that we played in in Arkansas, but this was different. We ended up getting 8th in the tournament! Not only did we get to just play basketball, but we got to know each other and make team memories. …show more content…

Rather it was the game that we had just played or what was going on at school. We got to know each other and we will all have those memories for the rest of our lives! We would also watch tons of movies that night, usually old ones. Or we would watch game film with our coach, or even highlights from the college game on ESPN. The point was, is that we were all together and having good times as a team! All of these memories are special to all of us. We always will remember the little things and how much we laugh together. Not all of our memories are good, like running line drills at practice or shooting free throws for hours on end, but we were doing it as a team.
