My first encounter with Genetically Modified Organisms or GMO’s had me not wanting to eat anything. I had an empty belly for a dramatic amount of three days because my mother had passed along her knowledge to me. Of course what she told me wasn’t much, just that they were bad and unnatural. GMO`s are starting to rapidly take over our food supply, but what exactly is a GMO? A GMO is a make up of DNA that is combined forcefully with a plant or animals DNA, and creates a new version of it.
