Personal Narrative: Lessons Learned From Mistakes

Everybody has something they will regret. It might be one mistake or multiple regrets, but they most learn from those mistakes. Either they over come them or they live in regret with those mistakes, and they might wise that they never had done that particular thing. I have a mistake that i have learned from and i would like to tell you about that mistake, and tell you how I've learned from it. A mistake that i have learned from is, losing my phone and having a panic attack because I couldn't find it. This all started when my family and I took a trip to Disney World in Orlando Florida. Nobody had seen it, at this point I was scared, nervous, frightened, I didn't know what to do. I've looked everywhere I possibly could, I tried to remember every place I had gone and still no luck. With my phone still missing and the stress I had I began to start crying, but then I remember that I could've put it in my backpack. I looked in the backpack for my phone, but no luck so I kept looking. I checked the side pockets and I saw an orange and black case, I was so happy to see my phone again. I told my parents it has been found and they were telling me I needed to be more responsible and I understood what they were saying, because I never wanted to be in that situation ever again. The lesson that I had learned from this experience, was to be more responsible and to take care of my thing. Realizing that I might not off had my phone for the rest of the trip made me understand to be more careful and to take responsibility when I lose things. Now, I am still learning from my mistake and still trying to have more responsibility with my actions. Losing something that is important to you can make you realize that you need that item a little more then you think you need it after you've lost it.
