Hurricane Matthew A hurricane called hurricane Matthew was going to hit Florida and I did not know. My mom told me about the hurricane when I got home from school. She told me And I asked if my aunt Tina, uncle Corey, and their dogs were going to get hit by the hurricane. She said it was coming right to them. I thought they would get hurt. I asked my mom when they were going to get hit? She said in the morning. I was worried. So I told my sister Taylor and we were both worried. I told her they are going to be ok. And she trusted me. So we sat at the kitchen table and did our homework. We were worried later that night. Hoping that they would be okay. The next day we found out it wasn’t going to hit until the next day in the morning. I told her I was just worried. She said it will be fine and I said ok. When me and my sister got home we did our homework. My mom reminded us about the hurricane. We were sad. When we finished our homework we had to do our chores. I had to sweep the front room, feed, and water the cat and dogs, and clean off the counters in the kitchen. I did not like sweeping one bit. Then when I was done me and my mom went into her craft room. And later that night my aunt Tina called and my mom talked to her for a little bit and then she let my uncle Butch talk to her. She talked to him for a little bit and then said she would call us back in a little while because she was getting ready for the storm. But she never called us back. We were worried. The next day I got to school and learned new things. And when me, and Taylor got home that day we did our homework. When we were done we did our chores.
