Over the past decade technology has changed dramatically. Us has humans have learned to love or hate it. It has made many lives easier. From cell phones to televisions to self-driving cars it continues to advance. Technology has changed society and our lives for the better.
One piece of technology that has changed societies is cell phones. Cell phones make it possible to connect the world with the swipe of a finger. With cell phones you can call anybody anywhere from any location. As compared to before when phones were only available in homes and could only make phone calls. Cell phones can send emails, text, and pictures all from the same location on the same device. The opposing side may state that cell phones have caused people’s social skills to vanish. However, this is not true, having a cellphone can help you keep in touch with old friends and friends in different areas. Unlike cell phones however, they are used only for that purpose. When the first computer came out it was huge and bulky. Now computers are getting smaller and thinner. Most families have at least one computer, most have more. They usually have a home computer, or desktop, then a work or personal computer, or laptop. You can now take your computer with you anywhere you want. Today most of them come with webcams built in so you can video conference with people. This is really useful if, a, you’re a student away from school and you have a question. B, you are away from work and you boss needs or wants to have a conference at work.
