Growing up all I thought I could have is a boring life in Ukraine. Being raised by my grandparents while my mom was at work, going to school, graduating, going to a university and then working at an outside market until I retire, I never thought at my age I would be living in America, going to school, working and paying for my own car! Growing up in Ukraine I was always taught to cherish what I own and to be thankful for everything I can do, that is why right when I turned 16 I got a job and bought myself a car. By having a job, I do not need to always ask my parents for money and by having a car I can drive myself everywhere without having to ask. What marked adulthood for me was turning 16 because that's when my parents had me get a job
