Which Car is Best to Drive?
When I get home from school, occasionally there is a surprise. Often a new car is added to our growing collection. My dad tends to buy vehicle after vehicle, either because it is a good deal or we need it. I usually get told that I cannot drive it and it is only for him. However, when the car I drive breaks down, I get to test drive the other cars we have. During those times, I figure out which car is my favorite to drive.
The van we have is the fifth best vehicle to drive. The pedal on the van is really sensitive. When the pedal goes down slightly, it wants to accelerate. For example, whenever I drive by a cop, I am often speeding. It is also real easy to wreck the van when you are in it.
The fourth best vehicle to drive is the Ford Taurus . This car has hit a deer and shakes when it goes about 55mph. In order to start, you have to pull a metal rod over. One of the headlights point upward. When I am driving down the road I have the disadvantage of not seeing the deer. Also, the air conditioner does not work in the intense heat.

When you step on the pedal of the geo, it sounds like a race car. Which has caused complaints in the past. When I get to drive the Geo, I save a lot of gas money. It gets nearly 40 miles per gallon. The car is small and tends to move on the road and get difficult to steer. Once on a sharp turn I almost lost control of the Geo. It has a small tank, so after a few trips it needs more
The car offers the driver a method to exercise power and control. When a driver climbs behind the wheel of a car, he is in command. The driver sees its destination, direction and speed as something determined by him. The car at this point is a motor vehicle designed to cater and respond to the driver's every whim. In this way the car also represents freedom in our massive industrialized culture. It opens the option of a quick escape to the owner and gives them the opportunity to exercise their free will. For a sense of this freedom and power, one only has to get behind the wheel of a powerful muscle car, crank up the stereo and roar off down the road.
...t to this becuase, when I was a sophomore I got my liscence and always have been asking for a car but never got one, but at the end of sophomore year I got one but I wasnt satisifed, so middle of junior year I had to get a more affordable car, I went from mercedes to dodge. Once I got the dodge I realized that my mercedes was perfect. So I now know that you never know what you have tll you lose it.
Another thing to note is that that a good car deserves a choice place in our lives. I am not advocating the need for a very expensive Car but one that would
More often these days you notice families with multiple vehicles. I have my particular reasons for owning both a car and truck. Both vehicles have their pros and cons and, for each person, these can vary. Although cars and trucks are both automobiles, they have many differences.
In the 21st century, there are too many vehicles on the highway and most people drive a vehicle all around the world. According to Tencer, ‘’The global number of cars exceeded 1.015 billion in 2010, jumping from 980 million the year before’’ (2013). If a person is thinking about driving a vehicle, there are two options that can bring different experiences. SUVs are 4x4, strong, big, and more dangerous than sedans. While, sedans are fast, small, and the more popular choice. Driving a SUV and sedan are different in terms of safety, power and comfortable.
Awoken by his alarm clock, 12-year-old Jimmy Clark got up on Friday morning and began his day with breakfast.
dissonance, I decided to store the car at my parents house and only drive the car infrequently. I
I got my car right before the beginning of summer. Brand new was not an option so I opted for a shiny-black, used Jeep Liberty. It was not in meant condition, but I was just exstatic as long as it had air conditioning that might just turn my fingers blue with frostbite. I had my car for a total of four months, however, before it became an unsightly crime scene. How did my car get wrecked one might ask? It all boils down to one decision I made. One bad choice could destroy a lot of things, so don’t let people convince you into making rash decisions. That was my mistake, and I'm still paying for it.
For the last couple months i've been searching for a good car that gets good gas mileage. I was tired of driving my 94 chevy c1500 that only gets 12 mpg. I wanted either a 99 honda civic or a 97- 01 honda prelude. I was pretty picky about what car i wanted since i was spending my money on this car. The car had to be a manual, have little to no rust and had to be a 2 door “coupe”. I've always wanted a honda prelude because you don't see very many of them. A nice honda prelude with little rust and that runs and drives good was hard to come by, so i decided to just look for a 99 honda civic. After looking for at least 2 months i found the “perfect” honda civic. It had no rust, it was a 5 speed manual and had “low miles”. I texted the owner and asked some more questions about the car, he kept saying it was a great car with no issues.
Feeling safe while driving is very important, especially if you have friends to family in the car with you. You want to not only assure your safety while in the car, but also theirs. While driving this car, I always feel safe and mostly during the winter season when I need safety the most. Having reliable breaks are important while driving in the snow and Icey roads. I never drove a vehicle with 4-wheel drive until I got this car and it really make a different. It’s a nice feeling to know you will be safe while going to work or school, and knowing you are less likely to go in the ditch or slide into oncoming
I thought learning how to operate a car is not just common sense but the purpose of the car is. It is meant for transportation and not wrecking into ditches or crashing. It is always best to have someone assist you or help teach you, whether its a parent, cousin, grandparent, etc. Anybody is better than nobody. I found out it's a lot better to drive automatic if I have experience in driving a manual.
My teacher stopped the car. She took a couple moments to breathe and told me that I did not have to turn the wheel a whole 90 degrees; maybe just slightly turn the wheel five to ten
There are a lot of decisions being made when looking for a vehicle. In order to make the right ones you have to understand what you want but mainly what you can afford. There are many ways you can purchase a car, whether you buy it from a car dealership or a private seller, the process is normally the same. The first thing you should do is set a budget that suits your needs. This will save you from having financial problems later. You don't want to receive repossession letters months ahead for not paying your car on time. Next you want to decide on whether you prefer a new or used vehicle. Pre-owned vehicles require more attention because unlike new vehicles, they've had...
I lived with my father for my entire life, but due to his work I did not spend much time with him. My father worked at a different city; and thus he comes home only a few times a month. My father is a mechanic. He works at a company that is distant from our home. This was due to the company being the only one and the first where cars were being assembled in Ethiopia. Sometimes on the weekends I used to go to his work place. He would give me a trip of the place; the station was filled with vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles. It was separated by sections. In each section there were only one type of vehicle and the assembly process was shown step by step. From a fuse to large engine of the car, components were getting attached.
A second point which favours the car is comfort. You can control the temperature, listen to the radio etc. And you always get a seat!
