My names Chase Tate i'm 14 years old, 6 feet 3 inches and go to grey hawk middle school. I get in trouble a lot at school Teachers want to send me to an alternative school were the worst of them all go to There was kids all ages there up to 18.I Don't think I should go to this school but my parents agree with them so I have to go.My mom and dad drive me it's was a long drive it took 6 hours. ...Leon lives almost two miles from my house. Leon's mom over heard Leon talking about it to me over the phone. She like what ya'll done did and why you huffing and puffing all crazy. We walked down the hall and they were all laughing at me because I got beat by a girl. I ended up telling the principal and he was holding back a laugh. I ended up getting suspended for three days because I was bullying Melvin, and Priscilla just got detention. How does that work? She locks me in a locker and I tease a kid and get detention.

I had a good year in first grade. I became the best artist in the class. I started getting better at English. My first word was “bathroom.” I made two friends Michelle Sherman and Karen Calle. After that I started feeling better and actually liking this school. Everything felt better and worked out great!

The reason I got sent to alternative school was because I brought weed to school. I had the weed because some friend gave me the weed on a Saturday and I told my friend I had it. I told him I was going to get rid of the weed because I had no need for it but, he told me to give it to him. I gave it to him on a Thursday morning and he got caught by Officer Massy and Mrs. Early. They came to my class right after 2nd period and took me to Officer Massy’s office. Then he asked me about the incident and I told him everything, I stayed in the front office all day. I believe this placement was fair because now I won’t do this ever again and I’m going to learn to make better choices in the future.
I had passed through almost all three years of my middle school life and had done absolutely nothing to remember my last year there. The 7th-period bell had rung and I was on my way to my p.e class just keeping to myself as I speed walked all the way across campus to the boys' locker room. After rushing to get my uniform on I once again speed walked over to my roll call spot and stood there patiently waiting for the teacher to arrive. As I think back, I went to Christa Mcauliffe Elementary school; our school symbol were the explorers. The principal of Mcauliffe elementary was Mr. Daniel Pokett, and my sixth grade teacher was Miss Stone. In sixth grade I was really scared of Junior High because of three things: Lockers, Homework that was too hard, and teachers that didn’t explain how to do the homework. I have a lot of friends at my church and they all said that junior high was simple, but my teachers said otherwise. I chose to believe my teachers and I turned into an annoying perfectionist, but when I met first 8th grade teacher, Mr. Roland, I told myself to be me again. All the kids in the class get out of school and go smoke weed or do other drugs and get into fights. And I don’t do any of these things and Mr. Curtis calls my dad when I leave after school to got have a ice cream sundae with hot fudge and gets me in trouble. I don’t understand he lets everyone else leave and go do what ever they want I have to sit in the classroom lintel my mom gets there. Everyone makes fun of me because I dot do any of those things then I get in trouble for putting my head down or not sitting up in my chair.
I had planned to come to school with a better behavior. When the week was almost over, I ended up getting in trouble again, except worst this time. It all started in P.E. when we had to run laps outside. As I was running, there was a girl who tried to boss me around and tell me what to do. So I got angry and pushed her. She then told the coaches and somehow I ended up in the assistant principal’s office. Once again my blood was boiling, and I was ready to psych out. I was very upset and shamed because the girl lied on me and said I tried to beat her up. As I was waiting in the chair to speak to the assistant principal, I was thinking to myself about how much trouble I was going to be in, when I got home. Minutes later the principal came and talked to me. She first explained to me that I had never gotten in trouble before. After that she gave me a big lecture on what happened between me and the girl. She decided to call my parents and the teacher had to give me a mark in my planner. When I got back in the classroom the teacher wrote the mark and she realized I cut the other note out of the planner. She told me to let me parents see my planner and how I cut the other note out. I had to bring it back signed by my parents. Once I got home, my parents were waiting for me in the living room. Somehow they knew about everything I did. They even knew about the not I cut out my planner. So I did not have to explain anything to them.
That was the first school I went here in the United States. The first day of school I wasn’t only nervous I was so confused. Everything was so different the climate, the people, the schedule, everything. The first day was terrible the only thing that made me a little exited was that for the first time I was going to have a locker, because the previous schools I went to din’t have lockers. The first day I looked at the schedule every minute and before entering the class room I would see the number of the classroom like a hundred times to sure I wasn’t going to go into the wrong room. I remember that when it was lunch time I went to the cafeteria and made the line to take the food, I took it and I went straight to the table and when I finished eating I went to the bathroom because I was alone and dint have nothing to do or a phone or something to distract myself. When I got out of the bathroom I saw people going in class rooms so I tough OMG I am late for my next class, because in my old school everybody had lunch at the same time so hurry up and when I enter to the class room the teacher just looked at me and I dint know what to do so I give him my schedule and he told me that I dint have that class until the other periods that I was still in lunch. We headed down to the principal’s office. My heart was pounding. It felt like it was pumping more blood then it needed to pump. The time it took to reach the principal’s office felt like a million years. We were in the office and my teacher showed the picture to the principal. There it was; the inevitable. This was bound to happen. How did I not see this coming? Why did I just ignore my noggin? The principal said, “How ignorant! Three days of in-school-suspension.” My life was draining by the second. It felt as if I was thrown into a dark chamber filled with corpses. Now I realized to always listen to the authority. My life lesson learned: Take policies seriously. No matter what you say to get out of situations, policy always comes out first.
I turn around and look at the school and my heart started pounding really fast. I felt like a little bug inside a mansion, the school was enormous. I took a deep breath and walked into the entrance of the school. I pulled out my schedule and headed to my first class. As I was looking for my first class I got lost and couldn’t find it so I stopped by a random teacher’s room and asked her to direct me. She looked mean and smelt like cigarettes. She got up and said with a deep voice “you’re in the junior hall, go to the other side of the school you will find the freshmen hall” I looked at her confused and walked away. I still struggled but I made it to my first class late and embarrassed. I did not know anybody in the school because I was new to the area so I had no friends. I chose a small desk in the very back and watched all the students chatter. The teacher suddenly stands up and says “Hello I’m Mr. Kennedy, Good morning” all the students reply energetically “Good morning”. The teacher insisted we introduced our self so I stood up and said “hello my name is Osama, I’m 14 and love baseball”. After the whole class went the teacher handed us a thick booklet to read and be signed by our parents. When the class was settled another student walked up to me and said “Is your name really Osama?
