When picking a health habit that I would like to challenge myself, there were many that I want to choose but I want to choose something that I know that I can fully commit to it and know that I can do it. I want to start something small and then in the future if I want to challenge myself then I will gradually go for a health habit that is more challenging. The health habit that I decide to go with was eliminating my intake on soft drinks or drinks that have high sugar including drinks that contain high-fructose corn syrup. In addition, I want to drink more water because I notice that I do not drink enough water, therefore, I want to incorporate that into my life. I chose this health habit because I notice that my intake of sugar is high and I want to stop myself from doing it but I cannot be commit to it. …show more content…

Soft drinks as in soda has more sugar than what the requirement intake for men and women. For me to think about that, it is a lot of sugar and to drink different kinds of soft drinks in one day that is masses of sugar. Due to this information, I want to reduce my intake of soft drinks. I am obesity and I want to make changes in my life and this would be the first step to being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle. Disease that I am concerned is diabetes. My dad has type 2 diabetes and seeing him taking his insulin looks painful. I do not want to be like that and for me to prevent is to watch what I eat, drinks and mostly important is exercise. After this challenge, my next challenge is exercise at least 30 minutes each day and then increase 5 minutes each week. But as of right now, reducing or eliminating soft drinks and to drink more
