Actors are more than just people who portray dramatic characters on a movie screen, stage, and television. Professional actors tend to make more money than most other careers. Actors bring joy to the people who watch them perform, and take them out of the real world and into the creative world of visual communication. Performers can show more than just joy, they can also bring happiness, sorrow, fear and even comedy. Acting can be a very versatile profession. It is way for many people to refine themselves. Performing is not only about getting into a role but understanding the extent of one’s imagination. There is a lot of preparing that goes into a performance than just reading a few lines. Acting is a paradigm. Acting is very different now compared to when it first started. In todays world acting is a fast growing career and well respected. but over 200 years ago it was not that way.
Acting had its start back in “ancient Greece” (The Columbia Encyclopedia, 6th ed.). It was held in a large outdoor theater that was “subtlety” (The Columbia Encyclopedia, 6th ed.) subtlety means that its all hard to understand, what the actors were saying even the “gestures” that were made (Encyclopedia).(See Jimenez Tomorrow about this last sentence) (An) Interesting fact (insert words) all the actors at this time were all men. The men wore “comic or tragic” masks (transition) also they were dressed in repulsive or distorted costumes. That was in the Greek era, but in the Roman era the actors where (were) all slaves and their performance was really bad(big high school word instead of bad). Actors or actresses might just be someone playing a role on the movies,tv or the theater, but they must be respected for all the for all that they went threw.(Re write last sentence) This career was almost lost but luckily still around to help people have a good time. They aren't(no contractions) only in the industry to make a quick buck, but they are their to make life a little easier. Like it was said earlier its(it is) a way for these people to refine themselves. Some people are made to be a famous superstar and other are meant to be regular people. But the author of this paper is destined to become a world superstar. Like the great Shakespeare once said “ This world is a stage and all of us are just actors”
