It takes an extreme amount of focus and determination for people to write a paper, especially me. As my time in ENC 101 comes to an end this semester, my writing skills have improved dramatically. Everything that I learned was to better myself for my upcoming courses in ENC. Most professors will be expecting their students to know how to write what the may consider being the “perfect paper”. With the number of reading assignments that I have completed this semester, I believe that I will be ready. I love the fact that we were able to peer review other student’s papers in class. It is always best to have another individual peer review your paper because mistakes that you may not have been able to recognize, they probably will. Further one, Being that I am a citizen, I play major a role in democracy. I am expected to vote, pay taxes, obey the law, know my rights, understand the government responsibilities, know what is going on in our country, and so on. Basically, being a citizen is like having a job, but unlike a regular job you can never quit or get fired. Since it is part of my job as a citizen to know what is going on in this country, I must be careful when I am reading articles, blogs, and so forth. At times, the news that you see on these articles and blogs they might not be a credible source, which is another skill that I learned in ENC 1101. There are plenty of fake news that is being published every day on different websites. At times, they may seem realistic, which is why we have to be careful. It is best to look at the top-level domain (.gov, .net, .edu, .com, .org, .mil), search up the publisher or author and their goals and interest to get a better
