Paramore’s mix of emo-pop and alternative rock & roll eventually made them stars on both sides of the Atlantic ocean, they began their career in Franklin, Tennessee, where Hayley Williams met brothers Josh and Zac Farro after moving to town from Mississippi with her family in 2004. Already a powerful vocalist at the age of 13, Williams signed with Atlantic Records as a solo artist, but conflicted with the label over the direction of her career and genre of music she was supposed to play. Seeking to form her own band, Hayley convinced Atlantic Records to let her piece together a full lineup. Lead guitarist and backing vocalist Josh and drummer Zac Farro were called in for the job, as were rhythm guitarist Jason Bynum and bassist Jeremy Davis. John Janick, CEO and co-founder of the “Fueled by Ramen”, a Florida-based recording label with a strong emo-pop and alternative rock acts, was amazed by their sound and decided to go to one of their live performances in Orlando, Florida, to see them playing live. After he saw these young musical talents, John invited them for a smaller private performance where he said he wanted to sign them. To help attract a younger audience, Atlantic decided to co-sign the band with Fueled by Ramen in 2005. Holding this amazing chance in their hands, band didn't want to waste precious time and started to record their debut album. At that stage, Jeremy, the bass player, unfortunately had to leave the band citing personal reasons. Few days after he left, the four remaining band members, wrote a song called "All We Know" as a tribute to Jeremy's withdrawal. They decided to base the whole album off of that. Known for their catchy lines and unique sound, this band confidently released an EP titled “Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys” with two tracks on it – “From The Ritz To The Rubble” and “Fake Tales Of San Francisco” on May 30, 2005. The track “Fake Tales of San Francisco” was voted their best song in 2013 by NME Magazine.
After the release, they were on to appear at the 2005 Carling Weekend, where they gained salute from the audience performing their best. However, unique as they are, they refused to sign with any record companies at the thought that they got that far by their own work and effort. On contrary to the statement, they decided to work under the label Domino in June 2005, because they loved the Domino Records CEO, Laurence Bell, despite the other contracts that were offered by larger labels with larger amounts of money.
Twenty One Pilots is a band originating in Columbus, Ohio, formed by two people, Tyler Joseph, singer, songwriter, and ukulele player, and Josh Dun, drummer. Although the band only has two people in it, they have hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world, selling out their most recent tour, Blurryface Tour, out in seconds. When blindly looking at Macbeth and Twenty One Pilots, one may not be able notice any similar traits considering the first is a play written in 1606, and the other is a band that originated in 2009; both are completely different in form and are from contrasting eras. Despite these differences, the well-known Shakespearean play, Macbeth, and the band, Twenty One Pilots, share similar messages involving manipulation, the need for power, and suicide.
Later, Garcia, who had been playing guitar since he was 15, went on to be the band’s lead guitarist while Hunter helped write their lyrics. Occasionally a strobe awakes from its narcoleptic slumber to wink at the nocturnal nation cavort across fog flooded floors. I sit in the shadows. I am an island ( not in the geographical formation sense, but rather in the Simon and Garfunkle sense). Music seems so tainted; its freshness extracted by the incestuous industry. Get an acclaimed producer, and make a video to show how pretty your band is. Become a whiney lesbian folk singer professing cynical prophesies with an acoustic ax, a violent criminal that uses his vehemence as an art form, a diva whose love songs are darker than her exposed panties, or perhaps a greasy haired bar-chord master with a chip on his shoulder and a heroin needle in his arm proclaiming how hard life is in suburbia. There must be something new in rock's tepid arena, and not just another "underground" sound that is this week’s salt-lick style. There must be a band out there in the very nucleus of pop music that will not take its precious history and throw it away. That will endure to "stand on its shoulders," understand it and explore its depths to form new music (Percy 49). There must be a band that has a lead singer who wrote a poem about Neil Young vomiting, and then had the audacity to name the band after it (Park). There is. This is Soul Coughing.

The band consist of 8 members, Nathan East bassist/vocals, Andy Fairweather-Low, lead guitar/vocals, Steve Ferrone- drums, Chuck Leavell-key boardist, Ray Cooper- tambourines, Katie Kissoon and Tessa Niles- vocals, and Eric Clapton- composer, rock n roll guitarist, lead vocalist. The band members dressed in casual attire. The band members were professionals, they knew exactly how to orchestrate every chord, they collaborated with the lead singer and each other in ways that wasn’t so noticeable to the audience but they knew which chords to use for every song, the band was a top notch team. The tempo of the songs were a mixture of fast, slow, to a medium style beat. The texture of the songs was homophonic and well put together lyrics. The style of the music was from the 1960s-1970s which genres were rock, blues rock, psychedelic rock, hard rock, jazz and blues.

As the nineteen seventies came to a close so did many of the musical styles of that decade. While some faced what seemed to be extinction others went through a sort of evolutionary process. The bands that were at the top of the heavy metal ladder during this time were such acts as Motorhead, Iron Maiden, and Tygers of Pan Tang. These groups would be just some of what the new crop of heavy metal bands would consider inspirational. My role model is lead vocalist of radiohead, Thom Yorke. He has made many amazing award winning albums with radiohead. In 1977, when Fleetwood Mac released their multi-platinum album Rumours, I was 4 years old and far too young to appreciate music. As I entered my mid-20s, I had acquired a passion for music of the 1970s and fell in love with the Eagles, Rush, Led Zeppelin, but most importantly, Fleetwood Mac. Their music had become a part of me. It had developed into my personal therapeutic outlet and helped to keep me sane during any emotional upheaval that I might have been experiencing. It was then that I realized that the passionate, heartfelt music of Fleetwood Mac captured the very being of my soul and I became entranced. At any point of the day, whether at home or driving in my car, you could catch me listening to any one of their many albums. Fleetwood Mac’s 11th album, Rumours, was the very first album to seize my heart and envelope me within its lyrics. For this reason, along with its immense commercial success, it undoubtedly was the greatest album released by Fleetwood Mac.

The enjoyment of a concert is often not found as a black or white absolute, but as an area on a spectrum. I haven't been to many concerts in my life so when I had the opportunity to go to a music festival with my cousin in America of all places; it could be said that I was thrilled at the prospect. If you don't know what Coldplay is well, Coldplay is four men very passionate in music and so they created a band called coldplay. Every one loves their music like me. I love there song attention and when I got to know the history of it it amazed me.
