Edmund Burke is right, challenges are what we are made out of and what brought us here today. Overcoming obstacles in life makes you feel more confident, obstacles in life builds character and they will make us work harder which leads to success.

To begin with, you need confidence in life. Confidence will help you get through a lot of things. Obstacles, being one them, are in need of a lot of confidence. You need to beleive in yourself to get through obstacles, you can’t give up or get down on yourself. If you do, the bumps will only get bigger. Once you finish one road block in life, you will be faced with more. But having that trust and self-assurance from overcoming one, you will be able to drive straight through the road block ahead of you. Not only do bumps in the road give you confidence, but it will also make you a happier person because you aren’t afraid of challenges anymore. Micheal Jordan, one of the most known names in basketball and around the world, didn’t make his highschool basketball team his sophomore year. They make us who we are and give us that ‘no quit attitude’. Obstacles build character, they make us a harder worker and give us the desire to succeed. When you solve a problem, you become a better person, little by little. When you overcome a lot of challenges throughout your whole life, people will notice. For instance, Walt Disney started off his career by being fired from a newspaper for not being creative enough. This was only one little set back for him.
