She slides the cold blade across her skin painting a picture on her wrist. She watches as the crimson blood trickles down not bothering to stop it anytime soon. She grab a piece of paper and sits down at her desk thinking of the right way to say goodbye to the ones she loves. Being called fat, worthless, and ugly on a daily basis has taken a toll on her. Her faith is gone and feels like she has no reason to be on this earth anymore. What do you do when your world has officially collapsed and no one can hear your screams for help? Her world is crumbling down in front of her eyes but why wait when she can just end it in minutes? What happens when she has lost her own battle and there’s no way to recover?
Hurt, loneliness, depression, suicide, these are all the factors that come with being bullied. Bullying can happen anywhere or at any time; it doesn’t have to be peers, adults can also contribute to this cruel act. Suicide isn’t always the first answer to those who have been bullied.
