Accounts of knowledge can be referred to an extent between one’s belief, the truth, and justification through the evolution of humankind. The truth of outermost reality, which can result in an increase change over the years.
In Origins of the Universe, was a Core Friday presented by Wil Van Breugel which was titled “What is Life, and Where is it?” (lecture about life and the universe). Through this lecture, Van Breguel’s presentation explained how many philosophers have fought to state their ideas on how the universe began. We all seem to view the universe in many different ways although we all live under the same cosmos/ universe. Along, this idea was viewed upon three philosophical parts including spontaneous creation, special creation, …show more content…

Special creation and the most typical relating religion is that god created all forms being a historical perspective. As opposed from scientific, living creatures were special and fundamentally different from nonliving things, that special creation was that the creator assigned each formation to its own place, value and meaning. Lastly, panspermia is a more scientific believe that first molecules could have come from space and life’s chemical elements are abundant. The theories that were informed of are to understand that the universe creates knowledge that attempts to indicate where all humankind started from. One reading presented during this module “Our Picture of the Universe,” by Stephen Hawking shows how the frame of the universe and theories of our planetary system has come into place. Identifying that early people believed that earth was a flat surface until now that we came to an agreement that earth is round shows how our mentality and knowledge has revolutionized. By looking at Aristotle he argued that the earth is round, reasons because the shape of the …show more content…

Davenport and D.J. Patil. Data being one of the strategic importance in business has a field in which is becoming a serious job in some sectors. In this reading, it explained that with this method it navigates the world around humans. Being said data scientist are the ones making new discoveries each and every day. “As they make discoveries, they communicate what they’ve learned and suggest its implications for new business directions.” This skill of knowledge gives an opportunity to dominate the next direction of how the world ought to work. Just like Hawking’s reading, new implications come about and from there evolution begins its way but this time across the business industry. One certain implication that was although iffy about was that the ratio was more men than women in the data scientist field. This knowledge is known as a double standard relating back to when men were regarded as dominant than a female. In the early years, men were usually the “hardworking” where they were the ones to take control financially and women had to stay at home, better known as a “housewife.” Individuals in societies now have gained more knowledge because reality has taught us that we need to achieve greater things in life. Although the ratio of women may be lower, as time comes women are becoming engineers and the knowledge of double standard as belief is
