Fast Food restaurants have become one of the most influential business that have impacted people 's lives. Today, because of how hectic our days have become, we as American are finding ourselves eating at these restaurants more than ever. Fast food companies are expanding everyday and are taking over our homes and families. The question that I’ll argue is; Whether fast food chains are at fault for the rise in obesity and diabetes or is it customers fault to eat there?
You can go anywhere in a town and you’ll at least see a fast food chain around. Due to how convenient and cheap they are, people are more likely to go and have a meal there. Even though they are convenient and cheap, we still have a choice because we can go somewhere that sells healthier food but at a higher price. We also have a choice to pack our own lunch, which makes us responsible for the food we put in our bodies. In a recent report, I found out that two-thirds of all foods consumed in America are consumed in people’s homes so why are we still blaming fast food …show more content…

False advertising is normal for any business, when we turn on our televisions we see companies showing us deals and price but there is a catch to it if you read the small lines on the bottom of the screen. Also how can fast food be misleading when schools and the government are the ones that are informing us about the risk of eating at a fast food restaurant but yet there is still an increase in obesity. If we have all these information and tools then why is the U.S struggling with obesity and blaming fast food companies for it? You might say that because fast food is addictive, but as for any activity that is addictive we have resources that provides help for people who are addicted to fast food.
