I don't think online school is superior to a real classroom, because it is time consuming and tedious. No one wants to sit in the same seat for four to five hours at a time, daily. It's a lot easier to learn from a teacher that you can ask questions, and that will teach you in a way that's effective for you. Another issue found commonly is the cost of having a computer, internet, and paying to take the class. Time consumption is a major issue. Being in an online class myself, I find that hours will go by, and I won't even notice that half of the day is gone. I sit in an uncomfortable chair for five hours a day, steadily typing and clicking away. I feel like a robot, the stiff repetitive movements. In modern society a lot of people don't mind being in the same spot for long periods of time, because they'll get used to it from playing Xbox for hours, but I get to a point where I'm restless and can't work. Another thing is that some people don't have time for the classroom time that is required, on top of working fulltime jobs to support themselves, or their family. …show more content…

I'm a very visual learner, and I don't like working on the computer. It's stiffening, and hard to focus. Some people have teachers that watch their classrooms that know all about any subject, but most people aren't so lucky. You have to go through a class with a clueless monitor, that just resets assignments every time you get less than an eighty. Being clueless and having no one to help, except Google, is difficult to manage, especially when teachers can be difficult to deal with when they don't know
