Everyone has ups and downs in life. Something can tear a person down and make them feel like the world is going to end. On the other hand, some things can make us feel like we are on the top of the world. Different people have different moments in their life that occur. Having different experiences is what makes us so unique. If the same things happened to everyone, you wouldn’t feel as special. Nobody would have any stories to share or entertain others with. I have had many events in my life that make it so special. One event was meeting Jason Derulo. Three lessons that I learned from meeting Jason Derulo were never let an opportunity pass you by, sometimes you have to be crazy, and that you should always be yourself.
My family, Mackenzie, and I were on our way to Laramie to watch the basketball games and the football games going on that weekend. We were almost to Laramie when Carly, Mackenzie’s older sister, called her. I could hear the excitement in Mackenzies voice practically the whole time they were talking. Mackenzie finally turned to me and exclaimed that Carly had gotten us tickets to the Jason Derulo concert the next night. When we arrived in the Arts and Science building, where it was being held, we took our seats in excitement. We kept joking about what would happen if we were to actually meet Jason Derulo. Mackenzie and I kept discussing how amazing it would be as Carly went to the bathroom. About 10 minutes after she got back, Mackenzie and I decided that we should go to the bathroom as well before the show started. When we walked out the doors we asked a guy working there where the bathroom was, he pointed to the left and said it was just down the stairs. ...u can tell your kids, grandkids, and so on about them. Being crazy is what makes life so fun. You don’t know how long you will get to live so you have to make the best of it.

One more thing I learned from meeting Jason Derulo was to never be somebody you aren’t. You should always be yourself no matter what. If people can’t accept you for who you are, then they don’t deserve the pleasure of being in your life. If you aren’t truly yourself, then you will never have a true friend. You should always be polite to people but don’t fake to be something you’re not. It doesn’t matter how famous and well known they are they need to respect you for you. Being yourself can have a positive impact on people. You will be admired for it. You may inspire some to follow your example. This is one of the best things that you can do in life. You will be happier and that’s guaranteed.
