Okonkwo is a strong; tall person who loves wrestling. He is much respected

in the village. He also thinks that he can be able to things without others help. In

this book Okonkwo is a tragic hero because of three different reasons. Those

three reasons are he has full honor for himself, he makes a judgement call that

soon leads to a mistake, and Okonkwo faces and accepts honor in his death.

Okonkwo has full honor in himself and I have a quote and examples from

Umuofia clan”. As a young man he brought great honor because he won a
