Part one check the boxes for all possible problems before breaking it down Let’s assume we have a pallet in manual check and we want to break it down to 80 totes. If this pallet has any problem such as not on shipment, no PO, no barcode then we will create 80 problems from just one problem and then problem become bigger when we inject 80 problems to the line 16 because everybody in 20 stations will pick one of the totes and turn on his blue and waiting for problem solver to fix the problem. This kind of problems definitely will slow down all associate at the line and they will put more pressure to problem solver and water spider while we need to stop creating problem from the manual check. My suggestion for this part of problem is to have …show more content…
Part two Problem receives As you know box has very important labels attached to it.one of the important labels is FBA label. In manual check we are generating frx and then throwing away the box. The most complicated problems at the line 16 is when PO connected to the ASIN does not match with PO connected to frx. As my experience 90 percent of books have this kind of problem. Let’s assume we have a box of books in manual check and PO connected to ASIN dose not match with PO connected to FBA then the question is how we can receive the items? My answer is we can trust FBA label and receive the item as a problem receive but how we can receive the item if we don’t have FBA label? we already throw away the box with FBA and only attached frx to the tote. My suggestion for this part is we can easily copy FBA label and attach it to the tote then in case the POs do not match together still we will be able to receive the items and avoid creating yellow problems (yellow totes with different single items on it, without any researchable
I have to pull two alleles (two straws) from the bag to represent one fish because fishes like humans get two alleles one from their father and one from their mother.

The first issue is two nurses failed to show up for work without calling. This issue will take about a week to resolve. The first step is to immediately ensure that their shifts for the day are covered. Then, I would review the attendance policy that is currently in place. I would verify that there is an attendance policy and ensure that it is being enforced. Following the policy review I would document the occurrence in the respective employee files. Lastly, I would set time to meet with the employees individually and go over the policy and the expectations.

Friesen is truly struggling to find a way to "have his cake and eat it too". Friesen is passionate about TPS ways of achieving lean manufacturing by staying focused on achieving cost reduction by thoroughly eliminating waste. He knows that just in time (JIT) production is implemented to insure plants produce only what is needed, only how much is needed, and only when it is needed. He has been thoroughly trained in jidoka principles, understanding processes are put in place to make any production problems instantly self-evident through visual deviations from normal conditions. He also understands the value of the andon pull, and that it states the andon card is not replaced until the problem is fixed – often resulting in a stop of the line. However, he felt this problem was different, and therefore an alternate process was acceptable. He believed it was possible to deviate from some of the core jidoda principles by fixing the quality problem off the production line, and within the quality control (QC) team. He believed this would allow him to save money by not having idle machines. Even after all the alarming red flags in front of him that indicate...

GM uses this system by containment, disposition, separation, and classification. Such a system guarantees that any outcome that does not comply with specified requirements is restricted from unintended use, restrained, and dispositioned by the administrators. Accompanied by this quality control is the verifying position where first-time quality and process capacity is advanced (Drew, 2011). Every team member is informed about any modifications in the production process and who and when to summon for assistance in the event of any quandary. Every team is also included in the problem solving to reach any improvement in goals.
...e SMS will be sent) who can go to the branch to get his car. The shipping system records information about the sender such as the sender car, truck number, etc.. and it also records information about the client. Then these information are linked together. Reports about each product with information about client and sender are written (let us say weekly) and these reports are sent to the top management so that every process is monitored to follow any problem if found and try to enhance the procedure. Also this information can provide which branch is working the best and which is working the least so to enhance the quality of work. This is a strategy that the company is following in order to reach its objectives found in the mission.
The situation is getting better with higher efficiency. But some of bottlenecks do not seem to be improved because of working sent to other areas. It seems there was nothing to do except waiting for the bottleneck machine to finish producing. Instead of just waiting, Alex came up with an idea of dedicating a foreman at each location of bottlenecks all the time. One of the foremen, the night foreman found a way to process more parts by mixing and matching orders by priority. This could increase the efficiency by ten
