Furthermore, another negative effect of media that will influence teenagers is behavior (Armstrong, 2012). One of the behaviors that will affect by media is human interaction. Teenagers are spending too much time on media such as Facebook, Twitter, and others which are included under social media. It causes them lacking in socializing with people who are around them. Besides, media influence teenagers to be a lack of face-to-face communication with their families and friends. For example, a teenager has a problem with his or her computer in his or her room, his or her solving method is to call or text a message to one of his or her family members by cell phone rather than going out of the room and tells the problem of their own. To avoid this problem occurs; teenagers should always converse with their family and friends no matter how far they are and how busy they are. Teenagers can have a short trip on the weekend with family and have a hang out with friends during the free time to improve their relationships become well. Chakravarty (2016) state that media will affects teenagers’ sexual behavior. Teenagers can learn sexual behavior from media such as television and the internet as well. For instance, television often presented some sexual scene such as kissing, intimate touching, implied or depicted intercourse as an advertisement, so teenagers have learned sexual information from television easily. Sexual scenes that are shown on media will affect teenager’s moral judgment and their mind (Ekler & Satir, 2015). It is because scenes that are shown can trigger teenagers’ imaginations. Teenagers can learn violent from media easily such as television and video games. Besides, the amount of video games and movies which content is portraying about violence has grown vigorously in this advanced era. Play violent video games will enhance a teenagers’ aggressive conduct, aggressive thought, aggressive feelings and others as well in teenagers’ life (Freedman, 2015). Likewise, teenagers who are not able to differentiate real life and fantasy will drag in the violent case (ProCon.org., n.d.). For example, one of the great examples that talks about violence in media is SpongeBob Squarepants. It is because SpongeBob that shown on television will corrupt teenagers’ mind (Kazakhstan, 2014). The main character in SpongeBob Squarepants will exact aggressive actions to others in his own community and seems enjoyable for his actions. Hence, the more time those teenagers spend time on then the greater impact on teenagers. Furthermore, one of the effects after teenagers has watched those video games or movie is cyber-bullying. Cyber-bullying is a new kind of harassing that the media has abused. Cyber-bullying can occur through messaging, Facebook or Twitter.
