National Honor Society is one the most prestigious organization in high schools. It would an honor to a part of this group. I want to be a member of the National Honor Society because it gives you an opportunity to contribute to the community. It will also make me a more responsible and disciplined person. It will also prepare me for the future and college. Being in National Honor Society will help me to in colleges and for the scholarship. I am writing to inform you of my possible contributions to the National Honor Society and my interest in becoming a member. I view myself as a strong minded individual with a strong incentive to learn. Acquiring the ability to learn fast and adapt quickly has enabled me to be a part of a wide range of organizations. My participation and loyalty to the NHS could result in a great strive forward. I could provide more ideas of services to benefit the school and our community. I would also devote a large portion of my free time to the organization and assist in any way possible. National Honor Society is a highly selective program designed to give the top students in the school an opportunity to serve and lead people in the school, and community. So far I have particpated in activities such as writing apprecitation notes to teachers, and crearing and handing out appreciation package to safe passage workers in the community.
National Technical Honor society is a prestigious club. Having the opportunity to apply for this prestigious society had left one honored. Being in such a prestigious program will open many more doors, and give one more opportunity to succeed in the future. I feel that all the candidates for this prestigious program have the grades and are all capable of being part of this program, but I also feel that by describing my unique set of skills I can merit membership into National Technical Honor Society and be a beneficial member.

As a student in Greater Lawrence Technical school my ultimate goal was to become a member of National Honors Society. From the very start I knew I had the potential to become who I wanted to be. Being seen as a person who can be National honors society member has made me so happy and realize I can really go for more in life! They sky's the limit. National Honor Society is an organization that was founded in 1921, based on the 4 guiding principles of leadership, service, character and scholarship. These past three years at New Tech High at Coppell I have worked hard to prove that I am a perfect candidate and addition to the organization.
The National Honors Society is defined as an organization that acknowledges remarkable high school students who exemplify leadership, character, and service. But possessing these qualities, goes beyond a definition. It is a person: one who upholds their own moral convictions, is always willing to help others, and tries to be an integral part of the community. I believe I work to define myself as this kind of person daily and would be a valuable member to the National Honors Society.
