Road rage is a moment of anger that is being caused by someone and their actions with their motor vehicle. When driving you need to be very attentive because anything can happen within a blink of an eye and a tragedy can occur with another person which makes them irritated. A person’s behavior will determine the danger of what they do towards yourself and motor vehicle. People who drive can understand that people’s reckless driving leads to a majority of offenses and to list a few on anyone’s part could be not signaling, tailgating, excessive lane switching and high beams. I would say it was on both of us that caused this, but in this case I was calm and he was annoyed. It all started when I was following someone to a destination that I wasn’t sure of and needed to keep up with him to meet at the same location. There was enough space between the back of his car to the front of mine, enough that a car got in between us, which isn’t what I wanted. To get back behind the car I was following, I had to swerve out of my current lane to the next and finally back into the lane I was in to begin with. When switching lanes, I might have been too close to the car that had got in front of me and doing that angered him enough to copy down my license plate. I went to a turning lane that was at a red light and the guy followed me into that lane, stopped his vehicle, got out, and wrote down my license plate and while I was watching him it appeared that he would have came up to my driver’s window to confront me but thanks to the light changing I was saved. I’m not a confrontational person so I was going through an array of emotions, but to name a main one it would be frightened. If you compare my experience to others it would be nothing, but any form of altercations, insults, gestures and unsafe driving towards you can be classified as road rage because it’s the person’s expression of anger.
