Recommended: Why is memory important in our lives

My Nana was an incredible woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her life was filled with happiness but more than anything it was filled with love. As I grew up next door to her, I had the great privilege of always having the opportunity to visit, sit down and just talk. She was known by many names, some are Mother, Me‘Me’, Nana, Great Grandma and Great Great-Grandmother. What my Grampy would call her was my Betty, my sweetheart. I knew her by all these names but the name above all that comes to my mind are two words “our rock”. For she held together her large extended family with love, faith, and dedication. She would brag to me for hours about how she had the very best children. How proud she was of each of them. My Nana was cared for by my Aunt Carol for many years. On behalf of our entire family we want to thank you Aunt Carol from the bottom of our heat and let you know how much we love and appreciate you. My nana was one of seven children and was the baby of her family. She had four sisters and two brothers. My Nana shared a bond with her siblings. It was clear to all they loved and cared for each other over the years. My Nana also had a very beautiful mother and father. She loved them dearly. There was always a special spot in her heart for them. My Nana had twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She loved everyone so much! She would light up every time I would bring one of her great grandchildren into the room. Watching her bond with the babies was just magical. Generous, loyal, strong, kind, funny, faith filled, loving and caring. These are just a few words for all my family here today to remember and love about our beautiful Elizabeth Claire Boudreau murphy, our rock who will be so sorely missed.     The intentions of Nanabush within the story are good, but in the process of achieving his goals he creates a lot of mischief in the surrounding community creating a bad outcome. Nanabush’s intentions involve helping Maggie, and because he is so infatuated with Maggie Nanabush definitely has no intentions of hurting Maggie. Nanabush had made a big promise with Lilian to bring magic into Vergil’s life, and many of the things he does are to fulfill this promise, but in the process stirs up many problems within the community.
