We are students of your English 407A: Business Writing Class, comprised of Linh Dang, Ryan Guay, and Tito Ribo. Our proposal team is proud to submit a copy of our proposal focusing on Nail 21, a nail salon opened in June 2017; our purpose is to propose recommendations well-tailored to address Nail 21’s organizational need to establish a client base. Our team’s Client Proposal was accepted on October 23, 2017, at which we officially began our proposal titled, “Nail 21-Bringing Life to a New Business.” Nail 21’s organizational need prompted our team to address the primary question, “How do we create and retain business for Nail 21, a nail salon in its infancy?” Our first step was to thoughtfully assess this main problem, and to simplify our strategy by dividing into three areas of focus: marketing, customer service/retention, and maintaining a local competitive edge. Marketing to gain new customers involves a recommendation for advertising channels outdoors, as research supports traditional location-based marketing. Customer loyalty will require Nail 21 to provide customer service that is unrivaled by our competition and to educate our clients on how to maximize Nail 21’s product value. Lastly, Nail 21’s prices must be high enough to satisfy the shareholders, yet competitive enough to do well against the 5 nail salons within 3 miles. …show more content…

These are the popular styles that many customers prefer to get when they go to a nail salon. Nail 21’s specialty is organic powder nails, which is a new trend they are trying to promote to attract new customers. The owner of Nail 21 also owns a prominent store in New York that is doing very well with this special nail product.
