What is NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduction and Statement of Commitment, well to understand what it does and how it works, you may need to get a little background information. For starts, the Code of Ethics was created for professions sense of identity. The primary focus was to have a day to day relationship with children and their families. They then created Ideals and Principles, they were given each a job for the code to work, Ideals was to reflect and Principles was to have a guide and something that can assist to get a resolving a dilemma. The NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct is a guideline designed to assist early childhood educators and other professionals who may work in infant and toddler programs through kindergarten. It also includes childcare centers and family childcare homes .It is organized into four sections that gives standard of principles, ideals values and responsibilities. The ideals are to work to create and high quality program and support their policies and laws. The principles are to behave professionally toward co-workers and community and society. Ethical Responsibilities to Community and Society:The last section is about how programs have to meet diversity of families. Overall, in my opinion in the future I will use these standards in my classroom because it helps with any type of problem you are facing but it helps you with any and it in details tells you what you can do it.
