I had an extremely amazing time on my Winter break. First of all, I spent a lot of time with my friends over the break. For example, my favorite part on winter break was playing soccer with my friends. My soccer team would play against each other and hang out at a pizza place. Most of the time on my winter break was playing Minecraft with Kalena. My other favorite part of winter break was having playdates with them. Lastly, my last favorite part was, watching Youtube videos together and laugh at the funny things that they did. We usually watch Minecraft videos. Second of all, I did a lot of Christmas bonding with my family over break. For instance, one of the things I did was Christmas shopping. A lot of people were at the mall and
I could write about millions of thing to you, but I would really like to tell you all about my summer break. Don’t get me wrong it was an amazing summer in all but, I just wish I had a little more time with my dad, and a little less time with work. My dad’s been in the navy for about fifteen years, I do believe. He’s been stationed in Maine, Louisiana, Ohio, and now, The Golden State, California.
Another thing is, sleep in! Playing in the snow with my family and friends is one of my favorite things to do every winter. Lastly, baking, especially with my friends, is one of the highlights of my break, because, it’s just so much fun, and it’s fun when we burn the cookies! Christmas break is going to be great this year!

Our parents had been socializing with each other for a while now and were best friends. I’m sure the Christmas, New Years and Easter holidays were the best ever with both families enjoying the festivities together. It was like having one big happy family around all the time.
When we were younger many of us wished that during the school year there would be cancellations or early dismissals. If the school’s education system in our district uses the year round school schedule then children and teachers as well won't feel overwhelmed due to the lack of vacations the traditional school system has. Now, to answer the question fellow parents of children in Danbury and Danbury citizens there should be year round school for these reasons: avoids teacher and student burnout, students will be more prepared for the future, and test score increase.
Around the end of the first week I went back to my Dad’s house and started playing with my little brother again. Around Christmas I went to my dad’s friends house and had a Christmas party. On Christmas eve I went back to my mother’s house to open my presents there. I basically got two Christmas’.
Spring Break is a time where you get to relax and spend time off from your teachers and classmates. The two things I liked was getting to spend time with my team and getting eighth place at a state meet.
South Shore Schools should have school year round. South Shore should have school all year because it would give kids more time to learn more and in greater depth. Students would have three more months of school each year to learn more and since school is about nine months students would get about one more year of time in school every three years which could help students excel in their studies. Another reason why students at South Shore should have school all year is that during the summer no learning is enforced and students can forget what they learned during the last year. This can cause students to get behind in their studies when they come back to school and then students can get poor grades and learn less because they are overwhelmed.
Tons of people go on vacation every year. Spring break is usually the most popular with teenagers and or college students. Back when Geoffrey Chaucer was a famous writer, people went to a town called Canterbury. On this pilgrimage, or vacation, there was a variation of people that would go. Most of the people that went were very religious because Canterbury was a holy place, like modern day Jerusalem for Christians. On this trip they took people such as nuns, monks, pardoners, etc. In today’s world there would be different people that would go on this trip. In the “Spring Break” trip today there would probably be an athlete, a cowboy, and a hipster.
As you run into school confused about why there's so many kids in your school as you're walking to your locker your core teacher walks up and says why are you in school this week it's your week off. Traditional 180-day school year with a two to three month summer break kids can lose memory, versus year-round schooling, with shorter two to six week breaks spread throughout the year. School leaders should change their school schedule to year-round school.

Cold, beautiful, fun. Though snow can be dangerous it is a lot of fun. This beautiful thing called snow can be amazing if we just give it a chance. Most of everyone just thinks it's bad but if they could actually see the real truth. Snow finds a way of helping us in so many ways.Snow is one of my favorite things because it is pretty, school is closed, and playing outside in snow is fun.
My most memorable Christmas is one from my past. I was about six years old. I clearly remember sitting in class on the last day of school before Christmas vacation anticipating the bell to ring and signify that the classes were finally over. As the bell rang, I ran out of that class, and once I got home I was ready in an instant to leave for my grandmother’s where I would spend my holidays. It was a two hour drive to my grandmother’s house. I was very impatient throughout the entire drive. I couldn’t wait to see my grandma, my cousin, and my aunts. To make things better, however, snow started to fall filling me with hopes of a snowball fight the next day.
Going on a road trip with my family means the world to me. We drove to another state during summer vacation, and it was by far the best road trip I have ever been on. My family and I were able to go to many fun places. We ate so many exotic and delicious foods as well. Yet most importantly, I spent time with my family and their friends. It was the day when my family and I went to California for our summer vacation.
