My Tutoring Experience

I have always been a careful person with great patience. When facing with complicated cases or challenging projects, I can always calm myself down and find the breakthrough to solve a problem. My carefulness can also help me to detect each flaw in details. Once in a while, I may feel disappointed when I realize my findings turn out to be the opposite of my assumptions. However, I have always enjoyed myself in the exploring process and never will give up. When I experience difficulties, my professors and my classmates offer me valuable help and support, which will help me get back to the right track to move along. The process of exploring the ultimate truth is always the greatest joy that I cherish most, which continuously improves my understanding of what I learn in the classroom and connects the dots in different disciplines.

Numbers are extraordinarily attractive to me, and that is why I am a big fun of mathematics and quantitative analysis. Serving as a math tutor at our university’s Teaching and Learning Center, I not only learned how to facilitate my tutees, but also improved my mathematical skills. In addition, I was also able to improve my English, which allows me to express my ideas clearly, succinctly, logically and confidently in conversation. Working with my teammates, I actively share my ideas with my team and discuss with them. I always invite and rationally consider challenges to one’s ideas, work hard, and volunteer to lead in projects, and lead meetings effectively. Helping to set and stay focused on team goals, I am able to encourage effective brainstorming within my entire team. With strong sense of time management, I always keep our project on a fast lane and complete work on schedule. Teamwork has shaped me into a potent performer in a team and improved my leadership
