Who has had the most impact on my life? Who can I honestly say that I looked up to growing up and was instrumental in helping me become who I am? I never really had a true hero figure growing up. I didn't have a desire to follow the example of any sports player or character from a book or movie. I guess when I really think about it the one person who means a lot to me is my father.

I consider myself a very fortunate person; my parents are together and life at home has always been stable. I am the youngest of three children and the only boy so it's safe to assume that I was spoiled. I was never physically disciplined by my parents my eldest sister saw to it that I got whippings from a belt if I needed to! My father worked hard to provide for us, often putting in long hours at the office during tax season--he's a certified public accountant. My father always told me to do my best and to work hard no matter what I did. I remember playing catch with my father in the driveway of our house.
