Weight (w): 55.2 kg
Height (h): 156 cm/ 1.56 m
BMI = w/h2 = 55.2/(1.56)2 = 22.68

Result (i.e. outcome): Healthy Weight

The effects of the outcome of my BMI, are that I have a healthy weight. This means that I am within my “bounds” with my weight. I am at a weight where I have an adequate nutritional intake and enough energy. I would also be able to manage most medical conditions. In order to maintain this weight and improve my BMI, I need to eat healthy foods and exercise more. By following a healthy diet, I will be able to improve my nutritional intake, prevent diabetes and heart disease, improve my energy levels and reach an ideal body weight. By regularly exercising, I will improve my energy levels, prevent diseases and become fitter. My goal is to improve (lower or maintain) my BMI and to become more flexible/stronger/healthier in general.

Eating Plan:
Goal: to improve (i.e. lowers slightly or maintain) BMI and to become generally healthier.

Having a healthy body and lifestyle prevents diseases (e.g. diabetes, strokes, heart disease, and so on). It also keeps a person’s immune system strong. This is vital, since if your immune system isn’t strong, your body can’t fight infections or diseases easily. Poor eating habits and lack of exercise, as part of an unhealthy lifestyle, can cause obesity and illnesses.
