The American Dream; many people envision it, however, few achieve it. What exactly is The American Dream? Is it simply wanting to have millions or even billions of dollars? Own a Fortune 500 company? Or just own a business in general? For me, it’s simply creating an extremely successful business and selling it for millions. If I was to somehow achieve my dream of becoming a millionaire, I’d do a couple things; make sure my mother was financially taken care of, build myself a pleasant home, buy a few cars, and buy an NHL hockey team. I wouldn’t build a mansion, it would just be a regular size house, however, it would have a huge four car garage. I’d build enough rooms to accommodate when I have friends and family over. I would add a movie room that would be set up just like the movie theater, huge screen and a top of the line sound system, with a couple plush recliners. I would build a four-car garage to store a Challenger Hellcat, Shelby Mustang, and a motorcycle. In the fourth car spot, I would put a car lift and a huge work table for tools and other little things to be able to work on my car. I’d want to buy either the Detroit Red Wings or the Boston Bruins because they are my favorite teams and I’d love to be part of my favorite organization. Once I buy one of the teams I would be sure to go to every game and watch the sport I love and the team I now own. I would buy a hockey team because hockey is my favorite sport and it would be a dream come true to be part of the NHL. All my players and staff would be well taken care of and I’d listen to all their concerns to make the organization better than it’s ever been. I would also create many fun family activities with the fans and players and really show how much we care about our fans. The team would never be as big without the love and support of the community around it.
