People say that old music does not live up to today's generation's expectations, liking, taste and preference, well I want to say that it is definitely not true. People in today's time and music lovers especially love to listen to music from the 80's. People not only include our parents but teenagers as well admire the artists and bands from the 80's. Many bands and artists from the earlier time are still going strong in today's time and are releasing fabulous albums and songs.
Every generation seems to give the next one crap for its music. I teased my parents about their disco until one day all my Green Day and Good Charlotte sounded dated in my headphones. “Old people” used to tell us kids that our songs were a reflection of our disintegrating values, that music was worse than it used to be. As it is said that some things are worth remembering.
Some people say that music today is meaningless and is all about pleasing the younger generation by how loud and fast can it be and how much bass does it have. Well it is not entirely true, it is true till some point but not if we have the eye to see. Music in today’s time is not all bad, there are many artist who create meaningful music with deep feelings and emotions which is priceless. Music in today’s time is torn apart on the judgment that it is not meaningful and that is definitely not true.
Music has revived in today’s time just like the old music. Music back in the 80’s was not bad either, in fact it was beautiful for someone who appreciates art and music.
