My schooling and three and a half years of undergraduate studies in ECE at the JNTUH university have made the choice of further study, for me, an obvious one. This should be attributed in part to the values that have been inculcated in me during my formative years in an educated middle class family background. My goal in academics is to pursue knowledge to be part of a pioneering research field and contribute significantly to the development of human society. My goal in my life is to have some patents of my own and to have great name and fame among my peer Engineers, after acquiring sufficient knowledge in my core field,i would like to start my own startup company, and want to lead a life of "Technocrat". as my country need a lot of entrepreneurs to get rid of the unemployment. This has motivated me to pursue higher studies in MS (Electrical Engineering) and that to in communication and signal processing which is my forte, but I would be glad if at all i get a chance of doing a PHD in "Arizona State University"
INSPIRATIONAL FACTORS :-
My Brother Who is a graduate from RIT(Rochester institute of technology) has been my motivational drive to take electrical engineering as my profession, not only that, in my view:plenty of online courses which are available in the youtube,EDX etc..are also acting as a key factors in stimulating my intrest in this esteem field, because from some of the courses i have taken from the EDX and youtube videos, i came to know about the emerging research fields and also about the challenges faced by the current systems and system designs and i hope i can complete the theoretical part by these courses ,and can concentrate more on my research and thesis work or the work assigned by my prof...

...id by "RICK BRIGGS" of "NASA" and i partly know "vedic sanskrit"(i.e i don’t know the entire "Nava vyakaranas"(i.e nine grammer courses) but i know the vyakarna (i.e the basic grammer and grammer structure)) and as ASU is doing research in the natural language processing(artificial intelligence related) i could be like an asset to the ASU.
besides,i would like to mention that my AWA score is only 2.0, and this happened because of the exam halls temperature, and i was sneezing all the time during my exam .so just by seeing my AWA score don’t throw my application, please give me a chance to prove myself, and i am pretty much sure that, i will live up to your expectations
I conclude with great expectations of being given a chance to pursue higher studies at ASU. Providing me with adequate financial aid would greatly facilitate my pursuing of masters’ degree.
I wish to place as one among them. Mahendar Reddy Kaukuntla S/o Mr. Sudhakar Reddy Kaukuntla. Apart from being a B-Tech graduate from Patnam Rajendar Reddy Memorial Engineering College affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, R. R Dist, Andhra Pradesh, India, which is graded as one of the best colleges offering Bachelor of Technology in various fields at undergraduate level for throughout Andhra Pradesh. I did my primary, middle and high school from “St. Domnic’s High School” situated at Hyderabad till 10th standard – “Secondary School Certificate” (S.S.C.) followed by which completed my 11th and 12th standards known as “Board of Intermediate Education” from “Gauthami Academy Jr. College” situated at Hyderabad.
Once I have entered college I have tasted first slice of formal education in industrial engineering domain.
One of my dreams is to attend Arkansas State. I desire to not only to earn my degree but make a difference on campus and in the community. ASU Scholarship funds will benefit me not only financially, but academically and personally.
I am writing to express my sincere interest in the “Class of 1982 MHSA Scholarship”. As a first year Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) international student, garnering financial assistance would aid in reducing my financial need to cover tuition and allow me to focus on my studies. I meet the application requirements of collaborative leadership, spirit of camaraderie, and financial need. Additionally, as I am currently in my first semester I propose my undergraduate grade point average (G.P.A) of 3.5 as a biology major and chemistry minor. I believe my G.P.A speaks to my work ethic and projected success in the program.
Motivation is an internal process that makes a person move toward a goal, the dynamic of behavior. Do not be fooled though, people can be motivated by external incentives as well. First, a person experiences a need that energizes behavior called drive. A response is then activated that leads a person to their goal. According to Coon and Mitterer (2016) motives can be divided into three categories, biological, stimulus, and learned motives.
Without salaries or benefits at stake, leading volunteer teams begins with the leaders ability create a motivational environment where the right team members are drawn together; connecting personally with the vision of the organization. Establishing and sustaining such an atmosphere calls for leaders who value team member personally, encourage feedback, and celebrates successes. Therefore, it is imperative for a Chi Alpha leader to understand the various theories of motivation and to apply those relevant concepts for inspiring diverse volunteer teams.
Learning is a continuous process and the day that you stop learning is the day that you start decreasing your rewards and lower levels of satisfaction. My ardent desire to acquire knowledge has motivated me to pursue higher studies at graduate level, and to take up a career in research in industry. I have taken this decision after carefully considering my academic background, profound interest in research and strong aptitude for problem solving. Banking on an excellent academic record coupled with a keen interest in the ever-growing field of science and technology motivated me to take up engineering.
Project managers must be skilled in many areas. One of the areas include being able to motivate team members to work. There are many theories about motivation that can help project managers understand what will motivate a person. Motivation can be categorized in two ways, intrinsic and extrinsic (Schwalbe, 2014, p.366). Intrinsic motivation is when a person does something because they find it fun or entertaining. An example of this would be playing a sport or watching a sport on TV. Extrinsic motivation is when a person does something for a reward or to avoid being punished. Such as going to work to get a pay check and not be fired for not showing up. Knowing motivation theory will help project managers understand their team members and what motivates them (Schwalbe, 2014, p.366).
Electrical engineering is the major that I am pursuing during my college career. I decided to pursue this major because it is a career, which requires knowledge in other subjects, it is a career, which changes often, and everyday it provides a person with new problems to solve.
