There is a notion that wars are caused just by these three things: Money, Sex and Power, which I believe is true to the faith. As sex is more sensitive topic which requires another point of view, we’ll discuss more about money and power. Spiritually speaking, money and power is just a state of mind. A pacific and eloquent mind doesn’t even bother about having those. It possesses the feeling of being rich and powerful. This mind of high spiritual stability is just after one thing, knowledge. And there is a proverb supporting their persuasion, ‘knowledge is power’. Knowledge is the real power one should be after and money and power just follows.
But that isn’t way the world works. Practically speaking, in the material world we live, money and power just became the fuel for it to advance. In fact the situation is this worse that money and power became the eyes with which human beings look at the world. Far more remorse is that this is happening with their conscience and not by some frantic reason. Everyone’s aim in life in today’s world has become just to earn money and become powerful. To achieve this, people are willing to go to any extent, even committing crimes which eventually produce criminals. Actually money and power are both symbiotic. Though they can both exist independently but in a factual world they don’t go very well on different lines. Once money’s acquired, lust for power creeps in, even if it’s unnecessary for it to be. Same goes with power. Having power in hand inclines one’s thought towards being rich in whatever way feasible. Analyzing data from the past people with both power and money are never in the charts of famous figures of history because they both together are very good weapons for criminal arsenal. Sim...

... before power shares a symbiotic relationship with money. When money can be used to bring power, afterwards power’s used to bring in more money. That’s why corrupt politicians are rich and powerful. It is one’s duty of high regard to see that power must be used to the benefit of people rather than using it for self-benefits, as it is the people who give you power and are equally capable of taking it away.
Power and money, when comes together in the wrong pair of hands, forms a weapon of mass destruction. And when in the right hands, it can be used for development and advancement of current world. Albeit, some Amy have risen because of money and power many have lost their lifetime in pursuit of those. The above article is only the darker shade of power and money and I would conclude saying power and money should be treated as hands rather than eyes of human body.
Why is that money and power can changes an individual’s personality? Well, when some humans see something desirable and valuable that doesn’t belong to them, they will go to a great extent to have it. Whether, that is stealing, lying or even killing loved ones. This is simply described as greed. Greed and ambition is a common theme in both Shakespeare’s tragic play, Macbeth and the movie “A Simple Plan”. They both share the concept of wanting something and committing crime after crime to achieve it. Similarly, the main characters in both stories become greedy after finding something valuable and their spouse encourages them further. Once in control, the main characters are willing to do anything to keep possession, even if it means to kill love ones.
It seems that money is the root of all evil and can make a man do things that he would
In an earlier century, Niccoló Machiavelli, wrote a document called, “The Prince.” This book was about what it takes to be a successful ruler, and the number one rule of course was: “Power is Everything.” How you acquire the power made no difference as long as you had it. Many people repulsed Machiavelli’s idea of power at all costs, but it would soon be the basis of the government in some countries.
It is often said that money is the root of all evil. The Robber Barons of the late 19th century proved this theory without fail. They showed that greed can overtake morals if the conditions are right. It
Power has always been seen as the killer of morality. Powerlessness, however, allows and almost encourages a leader to use his strength to his advantage. The ascent to despotism may begin by instituting slightly stricter laws that give
Power is both a mental and physical characteristic that people define through knowledge, strength, and money. People who embody these traits are exceedingly hard to come by and almost cease to exist. In today’s age it is a demanding task to find a person who has absolutely mastered a specific trade. For an individual to become powerful they must acquire a vast amount of knowledge in that subject area to convince others and prove their arguments factual. A knowledgeable being will have a sharp edge over competitors allowing them to rise to the top, leaving opponents in the dust. People who have obtained a substantial amount of strength are more likely to be successful when attempting tasks and missions. An individual who has strength has more stability, courage, and fortitude. A person who displays these attributes has what it takes to control large amounts of people as well as face those people in a devastating situation. In this society it is impossible to gain access to power without one very valuable resource. Most people spend a rather large portion of their day either carrying, counting, or spending this power-granting asset. With money an individual can purchase anything they desire and prove status to other lowlife humans. The more money a person has, the more materialistic goods they can possess. Many people who have very large quantities of...
Some people may think that money doesn't corrupt people and that corruption is something that can be controlled by human choice, but money affected the social acceptance of people, it corrupted the thought process of the upper percentage of people, the wealthy people that don't accept the less wealthy because of a social barrier they feel can't be passed, the younger brother that gets rich and feels like his whole family is trying to take his money, the greed that comes along with wealth causes corruption.
Religion has always played a major role in the development of human society. This is the main reason why it has so often been used for unjust purposes. The concept of war is in complete opposition to what Islam and Christianity teach their followers. Still, by different means, religion was and is often brought into play to cater for the interests of powerful people.
Power is the source of all corruption as supported by Dickens’s novel A Tale of Two Cities. The characters Monseigneur, Marquis of Evermonde, and the revolutionaries all become corrupt in the end because of the power they possessed. If they did not possess power, they would not have been able to complete the actions they had planned to. Then, if they’re actions did not occur, the corruption they caused would cease to exist

Money is the main source of power in the world, but in ways it can be viewed as good or bad depending on the situation. It has a negative connotation when mentioned by the word “acts”. “ Acts” means to perform a fictional role. Which shows that most things involving money are fake. Though humans associate being fake with being morally wrong, but its somehow acceptable if there is a greater power involved. Another definition for acts is to take action;do something. In this case to take an action can be either good or bad. There are many ways to come across money, but nobody cares if it is good or bad because it deals with a greater power.
As the old saying goes, money is power. As the statistics show, some people have an insane amount of money, yet their fellow countrymen have close to nothing. In a struggling economy, unfair distribution of wealth can create real problems and unimaginable hardships for some people. For example, millions of people pay $2 for a bottle of designer water, while millions more live on less than $2 a day. If this is to one day change, wealthy people must adopt a much more magnanimous conviction towards their money.
As shown in literature, corruption and the abuse of power is an ongoing discussion. When it comes down to the point where people are being used and abused physically and psychologically, it creates a hostile environment for both the subjects and the abuser. As represented in the two similar texts Lord Of the Flies and “I Only Came to use the Phone”, corrupted authority and abuse of power usually end up leading to the collapse of a society or a world of chaos and violence.
The author demonstrates how one can lose sight in life and become corrupt through focusing only on wealth, supremacy and materialistic possessions
He who considers wealth a good thing can never bear to give up his income; he who considers eminence a good thing can never bear to give up his fame. He who has a taste for power can never bear to hand over authority to others. Holding tight to these things, such men shiver with fear; should they let them go, they would pine in sorrow. They never stop for a moment of reflection, never cease to gaze with greedy eyes--they are men punished by Heaven(Taoism. Chung Tzu 14).
